starbucks unicorn frappuccino review
On Wednesday, we wear pink!
Yes, on Wednesday’s, my technicians and I always wear our pink scrubs. Just like in Mean Girls, lol. And this is the perfect drink to match our scrubs and complement our Wednesday’s theme, xoxo.
We all heard the rumors, and now, it’s HERE! Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. Honestly, I love Starbucks and am obsessed with the cinnamon almond milk or caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso! I am definitely not into sweet drinks whether it’s coffee or mixed drinks, lol. I like it strong enough for it to do its sole purpose, and it is to wake me up in the morning! You would think this drink will do the trick with so much sugar and syrup, but it only hurts my poor tummy. It’s just something I HAD TO TRY! I’m a strong believer of “don’t knock it till you try it”! So here, I am.. trying it to knock it, lol.
The drink consists of mango syrup, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor! If you’re not a mango fan, trust me, it tastes NOTHING like a real mango, so give it a shot! Too bad, there’s no real expresso shots in there. Then it’s topped with their infamous whipped cream, which is ahh-mazing! I used to add for extra whip when I was younger with a much faster metabolism. The “fairy dust” on top is a mixture of pink and blue powder that will cause your face to cringe! It is sour. I love sour, but this is like a Warhead sour! A pleasant flavor blast for some, but definitely not for me.
However, the best thing about the unicorn frappucinno is not for its flavors but for its aesthetic appeals! I mean, look at it! It’s absolutely fun and gorgeous with all the pink, purple, and blue swirls. It’s a great idea for parents to take their kids with them to Starbucks and have something available for the kids that is fun with no caffeine (but probs just a lot of sugar)! And kudos to Starbucks for jumping on the trend of unicorns, making this drink a great selling point!
Will you be trying this Unicorn Frappuccino this weekend?
